The glaze is Galaxy which reads black but please enlarge the images to enjoy the zillions of gold spangles throughout. Water fills the Piazza streams from the channel with no splash. Your cats can drink from the Piazza basin, the stream and the bowl. Uses the ceramic insert to soften the flow or leave it out for a bubble-spout and a stream. Great for longhair cats and short-faced cats.
This fountain does not take either of the Cat Taps.
