Privacy, Shipping and Warranty Policies For Our Handmade Ceramic Cat Drinking Fountains
We do not collect your IP address and follow you around the net with ads as so many of the “We Respect Your Privacy” sites do. At no time and in no way is any customer information shared with any other entity: individual or business. We reject spam and will never contact any customer for any reason other than to respond to an inquiry or to notify you that your product has shipped. If you have opted to receive our newsletter you can easily opt-out at any time via a clear link on the bottom of the newsletter.
Our payment gateway is Paypal – among the most trusted payment methods on the planet, and which will complete your transaction with any credit card and you do not need to have a Paypal account. You can browse and shop our site in complete confidence.
We ship in 2-4 business days via UPS. If you live in HI or AK please contact us we can give you a quote for less expensive shipping via USPS Priority. If you have a sick cat and need your fountain sooner let us know in notes to seller and we’ll ship your fountain ASAP. Filters and cat tap ordered without a fountain ship via First Class Mail. Orders with a copper cat tap may ship in 3-5 business days. If you require a signature for delivery of your package please include this in your note to seller at checkout.
We ship to Canada but not through our website. Please contact us for a quote at email@example.com
If for whatever reason your fountain doesn’t work out for you (or your cat) it can be returned within one month of receipt for a refund of the price of the fountain minus shipping. Please contact us before returning your fountain for instructions on how to do this. See this link on how to entice your cat to use the fountain. If the returned fountain requires cleaning or other work an appropriate fee will be deducted from the refund.
If your fountain does not perform properly upon receipt we will refund you in full including shipping both ways but be sure to contact us right away. In almost every case when a fountain appears not to function properly it is due to user error and is easily resolved. If your fountain arrives damaged in shipping, please keep the box as is with the wrapping and fountain in it and email us pictures of the broken items. We will contact our shipper to inspect the damage and issue you a full refund.
We reserve the right to cancel any transaction at our discretion prior to shipping in which case a full refund will be issued. Every customer has the same right in which case the refund will be automatically issued.
Fountain Warranty Policy
We guarantee our fountains to be free of defect in materials and workmanship. If a defect is evident on receiving the fountain or occurs that was not caused by handling, environmental conditions or general accident we will replace or repair the fountain at our expense. Not covered are damages caused by dropping or banging or any form of mishandling, breakage due to being filled with too hot and or too cold water or from being left out of doors during winter. With proper care the fountain should last a lifetime.
Pump Warranty Policy
If the pump ceases to function within one year of purchase we will replace it. Not covered in this warranty are damage from electrical outages, if the pump is left running with no water, if it is not cleaned regularly, including the removing of the impeller and cleaning inside the impeller well housing or if high mineral content in the water wears the impeller. If you have high mineral content please use bottled water if you can, or put the impeller in a solution of 1 tbs. salt to 1 cup white vinegar and put the solution in the impeller well for a half hour once a month. With regular care the pump should last many years.
