The glaze on this large capacity cat water fountain is Aubergine which is a semi-gloss glaze having a satiny finish. A scallop shell is the center piece which fills and streams and trickles quietly into the bowl with no splash. Your cats can drink from the shell, the stream and the bowl. REDUCED due to two small dark spots on the interior of the bowl. Not seen and have no effect.

This fountain does not take any of the Cat Taps.
