We intentionally mismatched the center piece and bowl because we enjoy the contrast/harmony. Hope you do too. For a stream you can add an antimicrobial Cat Tap which you can swap in and out with the included straight antimicrobial spout. REDUCED because the center piece is slightly out of round and there is an extrusion on the interior bottom of the bowl which isn’t seen and has no effect. Please see the last image.
