The glaze is Desert Dawn showing a beautiful blend of hues and featuring a Maple leaf motif imprinted with maple leaves with an under-glaze of deep red. Water bubbles up into the leaf and slides over the edges. The bowl was grooved when still wet giving it ridges on the outside which filled with glaze but can still be felt. See the last image. All our cat fountains come with everything you need but you can add any of our cat taps if you wish a stream as well, and easily swap them in and out with the straight copper spout.
