The glaze is Caribbean. Water flows up onto the leaf and into the bowl in three streams with no splash. Your pets can drink from the leaf, the stream and from the bowl. REDUCED because of a missed glaze spot on the outside rim (see the last image) and because the three streams are not a robust and smooth as we would like. Works fine but not quite as we would have wished.
This fountain does not take any of the Cat Taps, the Serenity Flow or the copper Waterleaf.
