    Pooki Loves It
At the recommendation of my friend Jules, I purchased my fountain roughly 10 years ago for my kitty Pumpkin cat. She loved the fountain. We lost Pumpkin cat in April. In June we adopted a trapped stray rescue 1 year or so old who while pretty skittish at first Pooki has finally come around to liking the fountain passed down to her. The fountain is easy to clean and maintain and I've never had any issue whatsoever with it. Thank you Keith and Jackie for all your help and for the tips on how to encourage Pooki to use the fountain. I highly recommend Thirsty Cat Fountains to every cat owner I know.

    Best Fountain Ever
OMG! So happy I found this site. The fountain is gorgeous , EASY to clean, and is never slimy. So much nicer than the plastic thing I was using and no charcoal in the water. Best design ever. Thank you for a GREAT, beautiful fountain!

    Clean, low effort, beautiful
I ordered a custom thirsty cat fountain over a year ago and can confidently say it was well worth the investment. I have disabilities that make most daily living tasks difficult, and the plastic fountain I had before this needed to be cleaned almost weekly. And it was a lot of parts and a lot of work. The thirsty cat fountain is the opposite. I clean it every month or so, but mostly just forget about it until I need to refill it. And of course my cats love it. It took them a few months to get used to the new one, but now they both drink from it regularly. My orange cat even likes to sit and just watch the water flow - I think it calms him. I used to worry all the time about the cleanliness of their water but I don't anymore. The one thing I'd recommend is to put that you want a copper add on to your fountain - I didn't realize they were not standard. Thankfully, customer service is amazing and they sent me a copper piece to add into my custom fountain - but it's definitely best to order that initially so it fits correctly. The only con I can think of for this fountain is that sometimes the separate pieces of the ceramic can make a clinking noise - I didn't even perceive it at first but my partner did and noticed my black cat might be avoiding it for that reason. But it just takes a little wiggling to get the pieces in a spot that don't make noise. Overall I highly recommend thirsty cat fountains for the ease they've given to my life and for the health my cat family. A note from Thirstycats. All the bubble-up fountains come with a copper component. The tower type fountains normally do not be we are happy to add one on at your request.

    So glad I bought one
I bought the Blue Daisy fountain less than a month ago and am thrilled I did. Three years ago, my Bandit developed crystals in his urinary tract, which is common in neutered males. The vet recommended a fountain to encourage him to drink, to flush out his digestive system. I bought a plastic fountain, and the first year was great. Subsequent years, not so much. The pumps would become clogged with this black gunk that would stop it from working and dirty up the disposable filter. Replacing the pump would help as a temporary solution, but it would still need frequent cleanings - toward the end of using the fountain I’d have to clean it twice a week, and the inside was still filthy. In the beginning, I purchased a set of brushes to help with cleaning the tiny nooks, crannies and spout which was effective for a while, but eventually I became concerned that the levels of sanitation of the fountain were poor despite my best efforts to maintain cleanliness. Did I mention it took 20-30 minutes to clean the fountain thouroughly? I got fed up and bought a fountain from ThirstyCats upon my vets recommendation, and I couldn’t be gladder I did. The fountain is gorgeous with a capital G. Such exquisite craftsmanship. And easy to clean! After my past experience with the insanitary nature of plastic fountains, I always put the foam filter in the microwave for thirty seconds once weekly. Cleaning is a joy partly because the fountain is so gorgeous but also because it’s far less cumbersome to keep clean. And Bandit is drinking more water than ever before! I highly recommend these fountains, you will not regret it.

    After 8 years still excellent
Hi Keith & Jackie.  FYI all 3 of the gorgeous fountains I purchased in 2014 are still working perfectly 24/7 for our cats & dogs. The fountains haven't chipped, nor ever had a trace of algae or discoloration & are easy to keep clean. The copper spouts are sturdy & just the right size to provide a steady stream, but not splash over the edge of the bowls.

I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the quality of your fountains; they’ve been continually used by at least 7 cats & 3 dogs during the past 7 years & I think we love them as much as our pets.  My sisters ‘borrowed’ one of fountains 6 yrs ago for their dogs & never returned it! (lol).  When friends, relatives & even my in-home visiting Vet have seen them, they’ve asked where we purchased & we point them to your website.  At first, most people were apprehensive about the cost, but we explain they’re human-grade safe, don’t allow algae or bacteria to grow, sturdy, easy to clean & run 24/7 for years.  Before we bought your fountains, we went through at least 4 of the name-brand Platinum plastic fountains & literally spent 2 days a week soaking them in Clorox bleach to remove algae & bacteria;  of course, not so with your fountains.  Knowing our pets aren’t drinking algae & bacteria alone is worth the price of your fountains & aesthetically, they’re beautiful little pieces of ceramic art in our homes. Thanks for making such great products!

We Love our Thirsty Cat Fountain
    cat water fountains
Beautiful, so quiet, so very easy to clean. How I wished I would have gotten one 2 1/2 yrs. ago. No more leaving the faucet on in one bathroom for Blynx. She loves her Thirsty cat fountain, another one to come as soon as I select the colors. If Blynx isn't drinking from it, she lays and watches it, as if guarding, she loves watching it, but more so drinking from it.

    Purrfect!
Now that I've had my thirsty cat fountain (tcf) for a month I want to share how great the experience has been. Before I purchased my fountain I had my eye on the site for awhile and I enjoyed browsing the available fountains/customization options, as well as some articles and videos. I made sure to see how it was cleaned before deciding to go with this Co. Right off the bat I loved the transparency shown of their work and the simple yet effective design of their fountains. I kept the tc browser window open and once I had the money I checked back to see what was available. Pretty much all of the fountains I had previously seen were no longer available. I checked back at the perfect time, though, because I found one that suited my tastes 100%. The shipping was timely and everything was packed with care. The color is perfect, even more so in person and it has a tower that shoots the water up a little bit. It is so beautiful and so well made and designed. I was afraid it would be too heavy and cumbersome, but it seems to be the perfect weight and I don't worry excessively about dropping it. My cat took to the fountain in less than a day, I just put it in the same spot as the other was. Cleaning the fountain takes only a few min. I remembered the video instructions, but it's also really really easy to clean. I was pleased to find this fountain doesn't develop any slime coating, was just like washing dishes. Its funny, my cat goes kind of crazy meowing when I take her fountain away to clean it, but she gets in back fast. I feel like the materials used are very high quality. I appreciate the article about the glaze that's used, food grade and know they're using the best for our cats' health. I'm really glad I found tcf. I feel the price they charge is reasonable as these are exceptionally functional and well made works of art that will last a lifetime with proper low maintenance care, excluding needing to replace the pump infrequently. Very happy with my purchase and i will always recommend tcf to anyone with a pet.

gilmore girls as a cat fountain!
this is my second fountain from ThirstyCat and after owning our first one for a few months, I would definitely recommend these fountains to other cat owners! they're beautiful, durable, and easy to clean - unlike other commercial fountains on the market that are poorly made, get dirty easily, and have overpriced filters that very frequently need changing. my favorite part aside all the positives from this company is the amount of information they provide in the FAQ! I also forgot to mention, my babies love the fountains as well - hydrated kitties makes for happy kitties 🙂

    Beautiful
Thank you guys so much, I received my fountain and it is perfectly beautiful. I did notice a small but apparently not compromising flaw but as I was assured it is a guaranteed fountain. I am very pleased and hopeful my cat will begin drinking from the fountain soon.

    Custom Ordered Plumeria Stream Fountain
This is our 2nd ThirstyCat fountain. Our first is a standard bubble-up with the Downflow Cat Tap that I keep in Odrick's cat room, and I custom ordered this beautiful Plumeria Stream fountain for the kitchen. I'd like to have a raised bubble-up to complete the set so I'm keeping an eye on the website, waiting to fall in love with one... it won't take long, I'm sure because all their fountains are lovely.
