This is another example of the new (to us) technique called Sgraffito where we coat the top of the center piece in pigmented, wet clay (slip) and scratch or carve a design in it; here a fanciful rendition of a Rooster with surrounding flora.  The bowl glaze is Bright Sky on tan stoneware. All our cat fountains come with everything you need but you can add any of our cat taps if you wish a stream as well, and easily swap it in and out with the straight copper spout. All are antimicrobial. Reduced a bit because the surrounding flora is not completely glazed in the Yellow..
